Her Eyes

Her eyes hold...
the weight of the world,
the beauty on every horizon,
the sadness in our tears.
Her eyes seek...
the truth between the lies,
the promises yet to be fulfilled,
the wishes we hold too tight.
Her eyes mourn...
the ones no longer with us,
the fear holding us back,
the lives too scared to speak.
